Udemy is a vast global marketplace for learning and teaching online where students are mastering new skills and achieving their goals by learning from an extensive library of over 45,000 courses taught by expert instructors. They have offices in Dublin Ireland, San Francisco CA, and Ankara Turkey.

udemy’s Needs

Since 2013, Udemy has been an extremely successful web-based e-learning platform with 3 million users. They first released an iOS application and found that it matched their users’ needs. They decided to start expanding their application to Android platform but their resources were limited.

how we helped

Udemy took advantage of our free trial to run a 2-month test with a dedicated team of 2 testers starting back in November 2013, manually testing their Android app. The trial was a clear success. Even before it ended quality improvements were evident, and soon all external testing for both Android and iOS apps was transferred to us.

In particular, Udemy saw significant improvement in:
